The role of antifungal drugs in the management of denture-associated stomatitis

Denture-associated stomatitis is a chronic infection of the oral cavity that may be associated with a number of bacterial and candidal organisms as well as some predisposing factors. Its management may prove to be difficult if the treatment plan was not comprehensive in addressing all the factors involved in its etiology.
